We pay special attention to our apprentices, because the new generation is our future.

We offer vocational training in the following fields:

Metal technology specialising in s engineering (Bleiburg)
Mechatronics specialising in plant and industrial engineering (Wolfsberg)
Office Administrator (Wolfsberg)

You are also able to complete your vocational training while pursuing a secondary school certificate or participate in a double apprenticeship.

You are part of the KOHLBACH team from day one. Our job is to challenge and support you in your journey.

Therefore, our vocational training programs place importance on developing independence and provide skill-oriented training.

As a KOHLBACH apprentice, you will complete your training working directly with our product and manufacturing processes. Your apprenticeship will include everything from materials engineering, the assembly of parts, loading the product to assembling, installing & inaugurating the KOHLBACH system.

Being a KOHLBACH Apprentice means:

Annual apprentice welcome event at the start of the training period
Fieldtrips
Continued education and training programs
Preparation for the final apprenticeship exam
Additional bonuses for outstanding apprentices
Formal evaluations are not the only thing we consider in our candidates. We assess you holistically, with the belief that all our apprentices have agency over shaping their future career.
Upon completing your apprenticeship, we are happy to offer you a permanent position on the KOHLBACH team.

A brief cover letter detailing your interests and motivations for the apprenticeships
Your CV
Your most recent grade-reports

We do not have prerequisites or formatting guidelines. The only requirement we have is that your application represents you as a person.

3. Review of your application

You will hear back from us within 2 weeks.

4. Interview

Congratulations!

You have passed the first step of our review process; we want to meet you! Prepare yourself for the interview to make sure we know that you are a good fit.

If you have any questions about KOHLBACH or the apprenticeship, please send them our way!
Please bring your CV and updated official grade report to the interview.

After getting to know you in person, we will try to get back to you as soon as possible. Usually, we will contact you within 1 week of the interview.

5. Next steps

You will either start with an introductory internship or begin your apprenticeship training immediately.

Your apprenticeship officially starts only once you have signed your apprenticeship offer.

For Students

We also offer training for future experts like you.
When you join KOHLBACH as a student, you are getting your first work experience. We offer both internships and part-time positions that can be completed alongside your studies.
You also have the option to write your final project and/or thesis at KOHLBACH.
